Nick Kyrgios set to make Estoril Open return in 2016

Nick Kyrgios has been officially confirmed by the tournament organization as the second player to join the Millennium Estoril Open 2016. A runner-up in Estoril last year, the 20-year-old will make his second appearance in Portugal between April 23rd and May 1st.

“Just like in 2015, the first international name to be revealed is Nick Kyrgios”, reads the statement issued by the tournament director, João Zilhão, who explains that he has made “all efforts to assure the presence of the young Australian star in Portugal.”

“Nick Kyrgios has one of the most spectacular styles in the circuit and revealed himself to be incredibly popular among the Portuguese crowd and even proved to be unsurpassable in the various promotion actions of the sport and the tournament during his stay on the municipality of Cascais. And, apparently, also liked the birthday party we held to want to spend his birthday again with us!”

As of this Monday, Nick Kyrgios and João Sousa are the only players confirmed for the second edition of the tournament, that is now promoted by 3Love.
