Following a sucessful first participation in an ATP tournament in Portuguese soil, Borna Coric will return to the Millennium Estoril Open in 2016. The announcement was made by Benno van Veggel, one of the event organizers, this Thursday afternoon.
Ranked 38 in the world, the 19-years-old croatian reached the quarter-finals last year (beating crowd favorite Rui Machado in the second round night session before falling to Guillermo Garcia Lopez) and is still looking for his first ATP final and trophy.
With the confirmation of Coric’s return, Millennium Estoril Open now has four players from the ATP top40 confirmed: Gilles Simon (#19), Nick Kyrgios (#33), João Sousa (#36) and Borna Coric himself.
